There are many ways to support the Calgary Stampede Foundation.
How annual giving works
When you give an annual gift to the Calgary Stampede Foundation, it means that your donation will be fulfilled immediately.
Payment schedule options such as monthly, annually, or a single lump sum contribution are available. Your annual gift can be fulfilled with any of the following payment methods:
- Credit card
- Cheque payable to the Calgary Stampede Foundation
Every annual gift made to the Foundation of $25 or more is eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
How planned giving works
When you give a planned gift to the Calgary Stampede Foundation, it means that your donation will be fulfilled at some time in the future.
Your contribution will be part of the Calgary Stampede Foundation's endowed fund. Alternately it may form part of a fund you designate. If anonymity is requested, it will be respected.
Your planned gift can take any of the following forms:
- Cash, securities, or a percentage of your estate after family or other beneficiaries have been provided for.
- Real estate, artifacts and other personal property.
- Life insurance.
- Life income plans, annuities or trusts.
How is my gift recognized?
Your gift will be recognized by The Calgary Stampede Foundation by:
- Valuable tax benefits
- Acknowledgment in The Calgary Stampede Foundation Annual Report
- Acknowledgment in performance programs where applicable
The Calgary Stampede Foundation will design appropriate recognition that is tailor-made for you.

Every gift to The Calgary Stampede Foundation is precious and unique and will be specially designed to fit your family and business circumstances. You, your trusted advisors, and The Calgary Stampede Foundation will become a team that will make the dream a reality.
Planned giving opportunities
With your gift, you can assist one of The Calgary Stampede Youth programs or, invest in our 'area of greatest need'. You can name your fund or memorialize or honour another person.
Designated Endowment Fund
This is a permanent endowment fund through which donors direct the income to be used to support specified youth activities. Categories within the Designated Endowment Fund include:

Income from each fund is annually granted to meet the needs of each category as deemed appropriate by the Foundation. In addition, other designated purposes may be created according to your wishes. The income from such designated endowments would be granted in accordance with your directions. The Foundation would have no discretion in making grants from such designated endowments.

Planned gifts can be made by anyone, at any stage in life. Together with you and your trusted professionals, we will create a gift program that is right for you.
How do I make planned gifts?
There are many different ways to provide a charitable gift. A bequest, a life insurance policy or annuities are just a few examples. Deferred gifts may also be pledged.

Making a planned gift helps to secure the future of The Calgary Stampede youth programs, either by general donation or by other designated gifts.
Corporations may choose to recognize valued individuals by creating a "living" legacy with The Calgary Stampede Foundation.
